Wyndham Clark of Denver, Colorado has won the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. On Saturday, Clark completed his three rounds of golf in northern California with a 54-hole score of -17. He beat Swedish phenom Ludvig Aberg by a stroke, new French phenom Matthieu Pavon by two strokes, and two golfers by three strokes (Thomas Detry of Belgium and Mark Hubbars of Denver). It is interesting that the top two American golfers were from the same city, (Denver), that is known for its thin, dry air. There was no golf on Sunday this past weekend because of bad weather in the San Francisco region.

Clark shot an opening round score of even par 72. His toughest hole was the par-three 12th hole, where he registered a score of double bogey. In the second round, Clark was significantly better as he shot a four-round score of five-under-par 67. The round was highlighted by an eagle on the 18th hole. It should be noted that Clark began his second round on the back nine. Then in the third round, the Denver native had the best round ever at Pebble Beach by shooting an 18-hole round of 12-under-par. In shooting a score of 60, Clark eagled the second and sixth holes. birdied the fourth, seventh, eighth, ninth, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, and 18th holes. Just like round one, Clark had a tough time on the 12th hole, as he had a bogey.

In other golf news, there is significant news off the course. On Wednesday, the PGA Tour received a $3 billion investment from the Strategic Sports Group.
