The fourth week of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now finished. Here are the top five headlines.

5) Steelers win in Ireland.

The Pittsburgh Steelers won the first game in the NFL regular season in Europe this season. In Dublin, Ireland on Sunday, we saw greatness from new Steelers wide receiver D.K. Metcalf of Oxford, Mississippi, who had five catches for 126 receiving yards and one touchdown in a 24-21 Pittsburgh win over the Minnesota Vikings. Metcalf’s touchdown catch was 80 yards from Aaron Rodgers.

4) Darren Waller shines coming out of retirement.

Darren Waller retired from the NFL two years ago. Now after a year off, he is with the Miami Dolphins. On Monday night, Waller was sensational as he had touchdown catches of four and nine yards in a 27-21 Dolphins win over the New York Jets.

3) Respectable debut for Jaxson Dart in Giants upset win.

The New York Giants upset the Los Angeles Chargers 21-18 on Sunday. It was the first win of the year for the Giants and the first loss of the year for the Chargers. I am still steamed about this result because I had the Giants in my winner’s pools. It was also the debut for Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart of Kaysville, Utah. Dart, the Giants’s first round pick, was not spectacular, but managed the Giants to a win. He completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 passing yards and one touchdown, and had 54 rushing yards and another major score.

2) 40-40 tie.

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys played to a 40-40 tie. This was the second highest scoring tie ever. The Boston Patriots and Oakland Raiders played to a 43-43 tie in 1964.

1) Patrick Mahomes makes NFL history.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made NFL history on Sunday. At the age of 30 years and 11 days, he became the youngest quarterback ever to throw 250 touchdown passes in a career according to Matthew Huff of The Sports Daily. He accomplished the feat by throwing an eight yard touchdown pass to Isiah Pacheco in a 37-20 Chiefs win over the Baltimore Ravens.
