Our analyst has run his eye over Wednesday morning’s Warwick Farm trials and has black booked two horses that look like they will be hard to beat when they return to the races.

Amor Victorious

The G2 Shannon Stakes winner caught the eye returning from a 49-week spell with a 6.5L 1200m trial win. He went at a solid clip leading speedy stable mate Overpass and let down really well up the straight. He has a 2nd to Tom Kitten on his record previously 1st up and looks one to follow as the level of competition drops off coming out of the carnival.

Regal Proft

The unraced Portelli 2yo impressedwith his all the way 1.4L trial win. His 46.2s was the quickest of all the 801m trials, including some smart open grade horses earlier in the morning. He looks prime to perform well in maiden company.
