The 15th week of the 2022 NFL regular season is now in the books. Here are five notable storylines from the week that was.

5) Jaguars have their second biggest comeback in franchise history.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had their second biggest comeback in franchise history on Sunday. Once down 27-10 with three minutes and 58 seconds left in the third quarter, they came back from a 17 point deficit to beat the Dallas Cowboys 40-34. Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdown passes to Zay Jones in the Jacksonville win. Jacksonville’s biggest comeback ever came on November 30, 2014 when they came back to beat the New York Giants 25-24, after initially being down by 21 points. In this game, the Giants had the first three touchdowns of the game.

4) Game delayed in Buffalo.

The Bills clinched a playoff spot in the American Football Conference after beating the Miami Dolphins 32-29 at Orchard Park. The big story of the game was the snow, which came down hard in the second half. There was no snow in the first half, but there was a lot of snow left over in the stands as it snowed earlier in the day. That is when Bills fans threw snow balls on to the field. As a result, the game was temporarily delayed.

3) Rams out of the playoffs despite being reigning Super Bowl champs.

When the Green Bay Packers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 24-12 at Lambeau on Monday, they eliminated the defending Super Bowl champions from playoff contention. The Rams became the second earliest reigning Super Bowl champion to be eliminated from the playoffs in NFL history. Only the Denver Broncos, who were eliminated in Week 14 of 1999, were eliminated sooner than the 2022 Rams according to ESPN.

2) Raiders win in crazy finish.

It looked like the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders were headed to overtime tied at 24. However, chaos pursued on the final play of regulation. The Patriots lateraled the ball a few times in an attempt to win the game in 60 minutes. On the final lateral, Jakobi Meyers tried to throw the ball back to Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, however the pass was intercepted by Las Vegas defensive end Chandler Jones, who ran the ball 48 yards into the end zone to give the Raiders the improbable 30-24 win. Officially, Chandler Jones was given a 48 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
