If Tom Brady is not the greatest football player of all-time, then I simply do not know who is. On Sunday, Brady continued to put his name in the record books with another electrifying performance.

5) Myles Garrett sets Browns’ single-season sack record.

On Sunday, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett had a game for the record books. He not only broke the Browns single-season record for sacks in a season with 15, he also had a fumble recovery for a touchdown in a 24-22 Cleveland win over Baltimore. According to Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports, Reggie Camp had the old record of 14 sacks, which was set in 1984.

4) Covid continues to be a NFL problem.

Heading into the Monday nighter between the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals, there were 37 positive cases of coronavirus. Among them included Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Josh Gordon and Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Gordon had his first touchdown with the Chiefs on Sunday in their 48-9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Ramsey meanwhile was unable to play on Monday in the Rams’ 30-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

3) Dalvin Cook shines.

In the best performance of the weekend, Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook rushed 205 yards on Thursday night in their 36-28 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers to improve to 6-7. Cook now has 198 rushes for 978 yards and six touchdowns this season.

2) Justin Hebert enters the record books.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is only in his second NFL season, but on Sunday accomplished something no NFL quarterback has done before. In throwing his 30th touchdown pass in 2021, he became the first quarterback ever to have 30 touchdown passes in each of his first two NFL seasons. The Chargers beat the New York Giants 37-21.

1) Tom Brady sets three NFL milestones.

In a tantalizing performance of sensational proportions, what Tom Brady accomplished Sunday against the Buffalo Bills in a 33-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers win was miraculous. The game-winning touchdown for 58 yards to Breshad Perriman was the 700th of his NFL career. Brady also broke Drew Brees’s record for most NFL completions. Brees had 7142, and Brady now has 7156 completions. Brady also became the second player in NFL history to have 10 touchdowns after the age of 40. He is tied with legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice for the most all-time.
