The seventh week of the National Football League showcased some outstanding performances from rookies. Let’s take a look at the top five offensive first-year players on winning teams.

5) Peyton Hendershot–Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys rookie tight end from the University of Indiana caught his first NFL touchdown on Sunday in a 24-6 Dallas win over the Detroit Lions. Hendershot caught a two-yard pass from Dak Prescott with one minute and 55 seconds left in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring. He had two catches for five yards.


4) Brian Robinson Jr.–Washington Commanders

We profiled Brian Robinson Jr. over a week ago in the Washington Commanders win over the Chicago Bears. This past weekend Robinson Jr. continued to be effective even though he did not find the end zone. He had 73 rushing yards and 18 receiving yards for 91 total yards in a 23-21 Washington win over the Green Bay Packers.

3) Keaontay Ingram–Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals rookie running back out of USC had nine rushes for 14 yards and one touchdown, alongside two catches for 23 yards in a 42-34 Arizona primetime win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday. The touchdown was Ingram’s first of his career and was a two-yard run, which at the time tied the game at 14.

2) Breece Hall–New York Jets

The New York Jets rookie running back was having a sensational rookie season for the Jets until he tore his ACL on Sunday in the Jets’s 16-9 win over the offensively inept Denver Broncos. Hall began the day with a 62-yard rushing touchdown to open the scoring and had four rushes for 72 yards before his injury.

1) Kenneth Walker III–Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks rookie running back has been great since the season-ending injury to Rashaad Penny. On Sunday, Walker III had 23 rushes for 168 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-23 Seahawks win over the Los Angeles Chargers. All of a sudden, the Seahawks are leading the NFC West at four wins and three losses.
