2 months ago - Sportingbase
We are now 15 weeks into the National Football League season. Here are the top five headlines from the week that was.
5) Jets fire defensive coordinator Steve Wilks.
Steve Wilks’s time in New York did not last a full season. The former head coach of the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers was initially hired by the Jets on February 1 when Aaron Glenn was named the Jets head coach. Things have not worked well for New York in trying to prevent points from being scored. They have given up 399 points, the third most in the NFL this season, including 48 last week in a 48-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

1) Two superstars tear their ACL.
