Tommy Fleetwood finally wins and it is at the Tour Championship

About 10 days ago I sent out an opinion post stating that Tommy Fleetwood of Southport, England is the best golfer ever without a PGA Tour win. Well, it did not take him long to get in the winner’s circle after my thought, and now he is a PGA Tour champion and $10 million richer. That is what happens when you win The Tour Championship in Atlanta, and in the process become the FedEx Cup champion. Fleetwood is now sixth in the world with the win.
On Sunday, Fleetwood posted a four round score of -18. In the process, he beat Americans Patrick Cantlay and Russell Henley by three strokes. Cantlay of Long Beach, California was a FedEx Cup champion in 2021.
