Honeycreeper – Randwick
- Race: 3
- Distance: 2000m
- Class: G3 Adrian Knox 3yo fillies
I liked the effect the blinkers had on Honeycreeper for her dominant 3L victory in the G3 Adrian Knox. She got back in the midfield and a patient Hugh Bowman was able to find all the splits up the straight. The most impressive part was her final 100m where she powered through the line which bodes well for stepping up to 2400m for the Oaks.
When To Bet
This was definitely not the strongest field of fillies with the likes of Fangirl and Hinged taking the extra week off heading into the Oaks but I do believe Honeycreeper is a genuine 2400m horse where many of her rivals are suspect at the trip. She is currently $7 in the Oaks all-in markets.
