The Roosters were solid last week with last week’s 32-18 defeat of the resurgent Eels, while the Broncos failed their were disappointing with a 25-24 home loss to the Dragons. Let’s take a look at everything you need to know for this matchup.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS VS BRISBANE BRONCOS – THURSDAY 4 APRIL, 7:50PM, SCG

You’d be forgiven for doubting Brisbane’s scoring abilities after a complete meltdown against St. George last Thursday night, but keep in mind, the Broncos tend to save some of their best performances for the road.

Having now strung together two-straight wins, the Roosters are flying high on confidence. Sydney’s attack proved too much for the Eels during last week’s 32-18 victory, a performance that has seen the Roosters jump out as five-point favourites ahead of this week’s game.

The return of Cooper Cronk is a major boost and is sure to have a big impact on the Roosters’ performance.

Brisbane’s biggest problem last week was not only lack of possession but also sloppy play on both sides of the ball. The Broncos missed 40 tackles against the Dragons, while their 14 handling errors and seven penalties cost them dearly.
