This was a big week in baseball this past week, as we found out where Alex Bregman, Bo Bichette and Kyle Tucker went. Six more notable players have switched teams in the last week. Let’s take at who they are. 

Brock Burke

Burke, a left handed relief pitcher from Chicago, Illinois was traded from the Los Angeles Angels to the Cincinnati Reds. In 2025, Burke pitched 69 games, had a record of seven wins and one loss, with an earned run average of 3.36. Burke also spent time with the Texans Rangers, where he won a World Series in 2023.


Victor Caratini

Caratini, a catcher from Ponce, Puerto Rico, has signed a two-year deal worth $14 million with the Minnesota Twins. The Twins are Caratini’s fifth MLB team after four seasons with the Chicago Cubs, one season with the San Diego Padres and two seasons each with the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros. Caratini batted .259 with 12 home runs and 46 runs batted in during 2025 with the Astros.


Willi Castro

Castro, an infielder and outfielder from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, signed a two-year deal worth $12.8 million with the Colorado Rockies. An All-Star with the Minnesota Twins in 2024, Castro spent time with the Twins and Chicago Cubs in 2025. This past season he batted .226 with 11 home runs and 33 runs batted in. Castro’s first four seasons were with the Detroit Tigers.

Jakob Junis

The right-handed picture from Jacksonville, Arkansas signed a one-year deal worth $4 million with the Texas Rangers. He previously played five seasons with the Kansas City Royals, two seasons with the San Francisco Giants, shared the 2024 season with the Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds, and the 2025 season with the Cleveland Guardians. In 57 games in 2025,  he had a record of four wins and one loss with an earned run average of 2.97.


Josh Lowe

The outfielder was traded from the Tampa Bay Rays to the Los Angeles Angels. The native of Chesapeake, Florida spent the last five seasons in central Florida. In 2025, Lowe batted .220 with 11 home runs and 40 runs batted in.


Gavin Lux

The second baseman from Kenosha, Wisconsin was traded from the Reds to the Rays. He is joining his third MLB team after five seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers and last season with the Reds. Lux batted .269 with five home runs and 53 runs batted in last season in Cincinnati. While with the Dodgers, he won the 2020 and 2024 World Series.
