SCHILLER NEEDS TO MANIFEST LUCK

IN-FORM jockey Tyler Schiller can reclaim the lead in the Sydney Jockeys Premiership and also claim another feature race at Randwick on Saturday.
Schiller, who last week won the Kosciuszko on Front Page and also the St Leger on Land Legend rides Democracy Manifest in the $1 million Five Diamonds Prelude (1500m) at Randwick.

Schiller sits third in the Sydney Jockeys Premiership behind Nash Rawiller and James McDonald on 20 winners. McDonald is riding at Caulfield and Rawiller is suspended.
Schiller told Racing NSW that he has to get his timing right on a horse such as Democracy Manifest who drifts back in his races.
He has ridden Democracy Manifest at his last two starts for a win in the Cameron Handicap at Newcastle and then a fifth in the Epsom Handicap where he finished only 1.28 lengths from the winner Redeiner in fifth placing.
Both times Schiller produced rails hugging rides with one successful and one not far away.
“I think he’s a quality horse but he needs everything to be timed right,’’ Schiller said to Racing NSW.
Schiller said if Democracy Manifest had of had better luck in the Epsom he would have finished in the placings and could have even won.

The Chris Waller trained Democracy Manifest, is a $4.80 favourite with PlayUp.
