Sandown Preview: Moroney After First Victorian Handicap

Mike Moroney is chasing his first win in the Group 3 Victoria Handicap at Sandown Lakeside with a double pronged attack on the race with last start winner Not An Option and Buffalo River who returns from spell.
Moroney has been pleased with the jump-outs of Buffalo River who will be first-up in the race.
Moroney said the seven-year-old gelding was in good order to Racing.com.
Buffalo River is now a seven-year-old gelding and has had two starts over Sandown Lakeside 1400m for two wins.
Not An Option won well at Flemington and Moroney is hoping he can maintain his form.
Buffalo River is a $6 chance and Not An Option is a $13 chance with TopSport who has the Hawkes Team’s Clemenceau as a $4.40 favourite.

Moroney is attempting to win his third Easter Cup in a row and he will be represented by So You See, who finished fifth in the Sunline Stakes at her last start. She is a $34 chance with TopSport.
The race promises to be a great contest with the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott galloper White Marlin a $2.80 favourite in front of Right You Are at $4.20 who is aiming for his sixth straight win.
