3 years ago - Sportingbase
Kudos again to master administrator Peter V’Landys for his Golden Eagle as that has proven to be another masterstroke.
A strong field of four-year-old’s unsurprisingly contested the event with the big money on offer but such is its impact it was almost the talking point of the day even at Flemington.
For the second year in a row, the Victorians took the prizemoney with Peter Moody winning with I Wish I win.
He can swap notes with his great mate and neighbour Mick Price who trained I’m Thunderstruck to win last year.

Private Eye showed he’ll have a huge chance of winning the VRC Champions Sprint on Saturday with another superb performance to win the Nature Strip Stakes.

He’s shown he likes the Flemington straight. It’s going to be some race with the Everest winner Giga Kick and Nature Strip who is going for his third win in the event.
