Champion trainer Chris Waller is hoping Frumos can keep her undefeated record intact as he takes a clinical approach to her emergence as a possible star of the turf.

Frumos has been the find of the Sydney winter winning each of her four starts in outstanding fashion.

At her last run the Northern Hemisphere bred mare looked to be in awkward spot half-way up the straight but when she found clear air she sprinted past her rivals to win easily over 1400 metres at Rosehill on July 16.

Frumos will again stay at 1400 metres at Rosehill and will contest a Benchmark 78 race.
Waller, pointed out that Frumos was still only a 73 rated horse and he would take one step at a time.

Waller told Racing NSW that there was a long way to go but he liked what he was seeing.

He said he had been impressed by her turn of foot. He pointed out that there were a lot of options for her through to the end of the Sydney spring carnival.

The feature event on the Rosehill program is the Listed Rosebud Stakes (1100 metres) which will be contested by horses set for feature three-year-old races.

Adrian Bott said the son of Maurice, Kibou, who had impressed with two wins over winter had been freshened up he thought he would be competitive over the sprint trip.

Bott said they were aiming Kibou at the Golden Rose Stakes.
