This gelding was second up from 147 days off and settled behind the speed before running his last 600m in 34.08 which was the 7th fastest for the entire meeting.
Only one of his career wins have come second up which indicates he improves throughout his preparation and he is sure to step up to 1200m where 2 of his career wins have come from.
We will be keen to back him in similar grade over 1200m next start.
