Interesting Betting Insights

  •  The North Queensland Cowboys have lost two of their last three matches against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, despite leading at half-time on the day during both defeats; in fact, only one in the last seven meetings between these teams has the same team led at both half-time and full-time on the day.
  • The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs won 6-4 at their most recent meeting against the North Queensland Cowboys at Queensland Country Bank Stadium (Round 1, 2022) after losing their two previous games in Townsville.
  • The North Queensland Cowboys have won five of their last seven NRL matches but lost their most recent game 20-21 in Golden Point to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles; though, they’ve conceded 30+ points only once in that period.
  • The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have won five of their last six NRL matches, including each of their last two by a Matt Burton golden point; though, they have trailed at half-time in four of those matches.
  • Each of the North Queensland Cowboys’ last five NRL games have been won by the away team on the day with the Cowboys losing each of their last two games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
  • The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have won their last two NRL games in Golden Point, just the second team to win back-to-back games in Golden Point (North Queensland Cowboys in Rd 1-2, 2017); no team has won three straight games in Golden Point.
  • The North Queensland Cowboys have scored 22 tries within the opening 20 minutes of games this NRL season, the most of any team and eight more than the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (14); though, the Bulldogs have conceded just nine tries in this period which is the joint-fewest of any team.
  • Viliame Kikau (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs) has crossed for one try in each of his last two NRL games after scoring only once in his previous 16 games in the competition; though, he’s scored only one try in his last six games against the North Queensland Cowboys.
  • Kyle Feldt (North Queensland Cowboys) has scored the opening try of the game four times this NRL season – the most of any player – and has scored eight tries across his last eight games in the competition.
  • Bronson Xerri (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs) is set to face the North Queensland Cowboys for the first time since Round 19, 2019, when he scored one try and made five tackle breaks from 15 runs against them on the day.
