Our three best tips for the 2024 Travelers Championship

Unlike a week ago where Pinehurst in North Carolina played very tough, the scores are expected to be a lot lower under par this week at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut. Here are three golfers we like a lot this week on the PGA Tour.
Xander Schauffele
The world number three from San Diego is a past champion at the Travelers as he was victorious in 2022. Two years ago he posted a four round score of -19 and beat Americans J.T. Poston of Hickory, North Carolina and Sahith Theegala of Orange, California by two strokes. Interestingly, Schauffele has only won one PGA tournament in the United States since winning the Travelers Championship. That happened to be the 2024 PGA Championship.

Brian Harman
The word number 11 from Savannah, Georgia had two strong results last summer. In addition to winning the British Open, Harman finished second at the Travelers Championship after posting a four round score of -20. Harman has not won on the PGA Tour in 2024, but did finish second at the Players Championship.

Keegan Bradley
The world number 17 is the defending champion at the Travelers Championship. Last year the native of Woodstock, Vermont delighted the New England regional crowd with a score of 257, the lowest score ever in the history of the tournament. Bradley’s score of -23 was the lowest score he has ever posted in winning a PGA event. Just like Schauffele and Harman, Bradley is a major champion, as he won the 2011 PGA Championship.
