Our three best tips for the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge
3 years ago - Sportingbase
Now that the world’s best on the PGA Tour and LIV Tour (and PGA Professionals) have gone their separate ways, it is time to focus on the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge.
Over the years this event has become famous as Annika Sorenstam competed there in 2003, and the Charles Schwab Challenge was the first PGA Tour event after the coronavirus pandemic, which was won by Daniel Berger. Here are the three golfers we like at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
Scottie Scheffler
A regular favourite among our top three picks, why wouldn’t you choose the world number one? Scheffler has been incredibly consistent in 2023 as the Players Championship winner has finished in the top 12 in his last 14 events.

Cody Gribble
Once in a while, the people at Top Sport really like a darkhorse to get into contention. This week it is Cody Gribble of Dallas, Texas, who will be competing on his home course, and will get the support from the local crowd. In 2023, Gribble has finished in the seven twice. The first time in Puerto Rico, and the second time at the Valspar Championship.
Cody Gribble is $9.50 to win the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge. [bet-au-5]
Viktor Hovland
There was a lot to like about the Norwegian star’s game a week ago. The world number six had the lead at the midway point at the PGA Championship and finished up tied for second with Scheffler, and two strokes back of Koepka.
Viktor Hovland is $12.00 to win the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge. [bet-au-5]
