The 2023 BMW Championship starts Thursday from Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Here are the top three golfers we like the most.
Lucas Glover
The native of Greenville, South Carolina and 2009 United States Open champion is quite simply the hottest golfer on the planet. He has won the last two weeks. First, at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, and then the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. In that time he has posted a score of -35 over 144 holes. Prior to his win in Greensboro, he was 117th in the world. Glover then moved to 53rd a week ago, and is now 30th. He is also now fourth in the FedEx Cup Standings, and only trails the big three.

Patrick Cantlay
The native of Long Beach, California was the 2021 FedEx Cup champion and was in contention just a week ago. However he lost to Glover in a playoff after posting a score of -15. Cantlay has been criticized throughout the year for his extremely slow play. That is something to keep in mind when choosing the 31-year-old.

Rory McIlroy
McIlroy was third a week ago in Memphis, as he finished just behind Glover and Cantlay. We like McIlroy a lot because he is the reigning FedEx Cup champion. He also won the FedEx Cup in 2016 and 2019, and has been in the top nine in the last eight PGA events.
