Magic vs Pistons 9:10am AEST

The Magic are just so so thin at the forward spots and Wagner showed last game he can play the 4 so I’m expecting big run for him again today. He’s been quite productive throughout his career, averaging 16.7 points per 36 or better in all 3 seasons and this is probably the best spot he’s been in, as the Magic are in desperate need of offence. After having a shocker in the first game against the Grizz where he went 0-7, he bounced back really nicely dropping 24 on 15 shots. He went 4-6 from deep which isn’t going to happen again as a career 30% 3 point shooter but the attempts are there for him and he should get a favourable matchup. So much upside on this Magic team.

He is rolling right now and there is no reason to jump off him today at a more than reasonable line. He’s had 3 straight games with a 28%+ usage covering this in all of them despite playing sub 30 minutes in 2 of the 3. This game should stay close, and Quinn showed last game he’s happy to put Bojan out there for big minutes flashing an upside of 38 last game. He’s their clear #1 option and he’s going to have to remain aggressive here. Numbers are up across the board but it’s his drives which have seen a significant jump up to 12.3 per game over his last 3 from 7.1 on the season.
