1. James Tedesco (Roosters)

A try, an assist, and 219 run metres. Terrified the Eels defence in the slippery wet.

2. Jacob Kiraz (Bulldogs)

Amid a renaissance for the Bulldogs, Jacob Kiraz continues to truck. More than 250 metres and two tries as Canterbury stays within touching distance of that all-important top-four finish.

3. Valentine Holmes (Cowboys)

A hat-trick and seven goals was nearly the entire 42-4 demo job on the Raiders all by his lonesome. Dragons fans will be licking their lips.

4. Jesse Ramien (Sharks)

Kept Cronulla motoring along in their gold point win with 226 run metres. Just kept putting his hand up for work, taking 23 vital carries (for 86 post-contact metres) and eight tackles. Destroyed the Knights on his runs with five offloads and nine tackle breaks.

5. Dominic Young (Roosters)

Very wet, wet weather couldn’t stop Dom Young from grabbing another NRL hat-trick.

6. Lachlan Galvin (Tigers)

A look to the future with Galvin this week. Played a starring role in Wests’ gritty victory and proved, despite his young age, he can already kick it with the best in the NRL on his day.

7. Jake Clifford (Cowboys)

Before Round 24, Clifford was told he had to fight for his spot in the side at seven. Fight he did, leading a raid early to score then delivering an offload to help Kyle Feldt score a little later. Three line breaks and an assist. Was everywhere in the win.

8. Addin Fonua-Blake (Warriors)

The Warriors may have fallen to the Sea Eagles, but “AFB” was at his usual best with 60 post-contact metres in 15 runs over 69 minutes.

9. Jacob Liddle (Dragons)

Those who saw the score will rave about Ben Hunt. Those who watched the Dragons’ game will talk about Liddle’s 52 tackles and his lurking runs around the ruck. Played the whole 80 in the middle.

10. Lindsay Smith (Panthers)

It’s been quite the breakout season for Smith, who capped a warrior’s 50 tackles and fifteen runs with Penrith’s opening try.

11. Briton Nikora (Sharks)

Capped a flurry in the opening 10 minutes against the Knights with a try.

12. Eliesa Katoa (Storm)

Another two-try haul for Katoa in the match that decided the minor premiership. If you’re going to bag two crash tries, there won’t really be many bigger regular-season games to do it in.

13. Cameron McInnes (Sharks)

Played all 85 minutes at nine. Built a wall the Knights had to go wide to beat in the tight 19-18 clash.
