He relished the heavy conditions and he kept on fighting to win the Frank Packer Plate only to have it over turned in the stewards room. That was his best run for some time and he’ll be a factor in anything he contests.

A great return to racing to run second first-up in the JRA Plate. He went forward as he usually does and beat off all the other horses who were on speed but he didn’t have an answer to Nash Rawiller’s rail hugging ride on Huetor to win. He’s a top class stayer and he could head to Melbourne for the Andrew Ramsden.
AMENABLE
Mick Price suggested Amenable would run a cheeky race and he was spot on as he was only beaten a long neck by Magic Time in the Group 1 All Aged Stakes. Talented galloper who could be a force in a race like the Stradbroke.
