Our analyst has reviewed the sectional times, ratings & replays from last Saturday’s Randwick meeting & has placed five horses you must follow in our black book below.
EL MORZILLO
Brisbane trained two-year-old filly who flew home to run fourth in the Percy Sykes Stakes behind Eneeza. She couldn’t find clear galloping room until 250m to go and then she rocketed home almost gaining third placing. She should be a force over the Brisbane carnival.
HEDGED
He just failed to grab Joliestar in what was the best run of his career. He drifted back as he did at his previous start at Flemington and then rocketed home although as Racing NSW stewards noted he was crowded for room shortly after the start. He was then held up early in the straight and did not get clear galloping room until 300m to go when he rocketed home.

SEMANA
Ciaron Maher trained four-year-old mare who proved her Group 1 second placing in the Coolmore Classic wasn’t a fluke by following it up with a third in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes at Randwick where she was only beaten by two top class mares from the Chris Waller stable. She can take up a forward position and then finish on strongly. She’s a chance in any race she contests.
C’EST MAGIQUE
She didn’t help herself by racing ungenerously in the first half of the race. Her best work was late when she stretched out strongly to just miss third behind Wee Nessy. The way she finished on she’s looking for further than 1200m.
