SCENTIFY/AMUR

On a track that played to on-pacers both gallopers overcame difficulties to run first and second in the opening event. Scentify was slow to begin and then had to shift out to get a run at the 200m. The son of Justify recorded the third-fastest last 200m for the day and was powerful after the line. Amur was bumped at the start and was held up between the 400m and the 200m. He then had a bumping duel with Scentify. Both could be chances in the Caulfield Guineas.
