Our Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Flemington 6/7

Our analyst has reviewed the sectional times, ratings & replays from last Saturday’s Flemington meeting & has placed two horses you must follow in our black book below.

ALDOFITO

Son of Fastnet Rock who oozed quality with his debut win at Flemington. He sat off the hot pot I Found You and had little trouble dispensing with her over the last 200 metres. Damian Lane said “he’s a little ripper.” Peter Moody and Kath Coleman have a horse who could be a spring factor. His 200m split between the 400m and the 200m was 10.95 seconds which was the third fastest for the meeting

ROYAL HILL

Found trouble at the start then Racing Victoria stewards noted he Was held up for clear running between the 500m and the 200m. When he got clear he sprinted home nicely and after the line he was strong also.

LE ZEBRA

He didn’t have the best of luck but his fourth in the fast run Silver Bowl Final was easily his best this campaign. RV stewards noted he was bumped and crowded for room at the start and was held up on the fence for clear running between the 500m and the 300m. He stretched out nicely in the closing stages and it’s the wetter the better for him.

POLITELY DUN

He wasn’t suited by the slowly run race, but he stretched out nicely to finish fifth in the Taj Rossi Stakes over the concluding stages. That was only his second start and he will take benefit from that. The further the better for him.

CINDY FALLS

Big win from the former Kiwi mare who produced the fastest last 400m for the day of 22.38 seconds when she swooped home to win the Leilani Stakes final. She will be a horse to stay with as she will get better over more ground.
