Accor to host Panthers-Storm rematch Friday night
The Panthers and Storm will face off for the third time in four finals series in the opening preliminary final at Accor Stadium on Friday night.
Penrith have named Jarome Luai (shoulder) to return at five-eighth and Izack Tago (pec) to return into the centres in a major boost for the defending premiers.
Tyrone Peachey and Zac Hosking are the men to drop out with Luke Garner and Jack Cogger reverting to the pine.
For the Storm, Jahrome Hughes (calf) has been named at halfback after sitting out their last-start win over the Roosters.
Tyran Wishart shifts back to the bench with Bronson Garlick dropping out whilst Harry Grant and Christian Welch have been named to start.
The Panthers have beaten the Storm in four of their past five and have won eight of their past 10 at Accor Stadium.
Warriors journey to Brisbane for Saturday night Broncos showdown
Suncorp Stadium will play host to the second preliminary final of the weekend with the Broncos taking on the Warriors on Saturday night.
Both teams enter the clash unchanged from their last-start wins which can be luxury come this time of year.
Josh Curran (finger) and Marata Niukore (knee) have both been named for the Warriors despite picking up bumps in their win over the Knights in Auckland.
These sides have met just once at finals level – a 2011 qualifying final that Brisbane won 40-10 at Suncorp.
Of their past seven clashes, both sides have won three with a draw, although, the Warriors have won just one of their past eight total clashes at Suncorp.
