The 2021 inductees were announced on Sunday for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. On the list this year are former NBA players Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce, Ben Wallace, Chris Webber, Toni Kukoc and Bob Dandridge, along with NBA coaches Cotton Fitzsimmons, Rick Adelman, and Bill Russell.

Bosh played 13 seasons in the NBA from 2003-2016, with the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat. He averaged 19.2 points per game, and 8.5 rebounds per game. The 11-time all-star won back-to-back NBA Finals with the Heat in 2012 and 2013.

Pierce played 19 seasons in the NBA from 1998 to 2017, 15 with the Boston Celtics. He averaged 19.7 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game. The 10-time all-star led the NBA with 2144 points with the Celtics in 2001-02. Pierce also won the NBA Finals with the Celtics in 2008.

Wallace played 16 seasons in the NBA from 1996 to 2012, nine with the Detroit Pistons, where he was a four all-star. Known for his defense, Wallace had 10482 career rebounds, and 2137 blocks. He was part of the Pistons team that won the NBA Finals in 2004.

Webber played 15 seasons in the NBA from 1993 to 2008. He was known for his time with the Sacramento Kings where he was a four-time all-star. In 1998-99, Webber led the NBA with 13 rebounds per game in 1998-99, and averaged 20.7 points per game, and 9.8 rebounds per game during his career.

Kukoc played 13 seasons in the NBA from 1993 to 2006. He averaged 11.6 points per game and was on three Chicago Bulls teams that won the NBA Finals from 1996 to 1998.

Dandridge played 13 seasons in the NBA from 1969 to 1982. He averaged 18.5 points per game with the Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Bullets. A four-time all-star, he was part of the Bucks team that won the NBA Finals in 1971.

Fitzsimmons coached the Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, Buffalo Braves, Kansas City Kings, and San Antonio Spurs from 1970 to 1997. He had a record of 832 wins and 775 losses.

Adelman coached the Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, and Minnesota Timberwolves from 1988 to 2014. He had a record of 104 wins and 749 losses.

Russell coached the Boston Celtics and Seattle Supersonics over three decades from the 1960s to the 1980s. He had a record of 341 wins and 290 losses. In 1975, Russell, who is considered the fifth best player all-time by The Sporting Base,  was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player.
