The NBA Playoffs continue on Friday with a pair of game sixes. The Los Angeles Lakers host the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat host the New York Knicks. The Lakers and Heat had a chance to eliminate the Warriors and Knicks on Wednesday, but were unable to win their game fives.
New York Knicks @ Miami Heat–7:30 PM ET
The Heat may have lost 112-103 in game five, but were the better team in two quarters in the contest. They outscored New York 24-14 in the opening stanza and then 29-28 in the final 12 minutes. Miami’s ability to play high quality defense is a major reason why they need to be considered a favourite to close out the series on Friday. That is why you take the Heat at -5.5. Also take the over at 208.5. Four of the five games in the series have had 209 points or more. Jimmy Butler of Houston, Texas has been the most prolific Heat offensive producer to date as he is averaging 24.8 points per game in the series.

Golden State Warriors @ Los Angeles Lakers
NBA history could be set on Friday as with a win by the Lakers, LeBron James will set the NBA record for the most series won by a player in a career with 41. He is currently tied with former Laker Derek Fisher. The Warriors have played better on the road in the postseason than the regular season, but you cannot ignore their 11-30 away record in 41 regular season games. Here I like the Lakers at -2, and the under at 222. The last playoff game between the Lakers and Warriors in Los Angeles was game four, a game that only had 205 points.
