Kensington Best Selection & Value Play 11/9

Plenty of high quality gallopers line up at Kensington on Wednesday. We’ve selected a Waterhouse/Bott runner that drops back in class from the G2 Silver Shadow as the best selection and an O’Shea/Charlton runner bringing Autumn Glow form as the value play.

Best Selection: R5- Hallett

Hallett appeals here in a race where she maps to get full control on a firm Kensington surface that tends to favour on-speed runners. She drops back in grade after finishing 4.6L 9th the G2 Silver Shadow when well supported. Her trial before that where she beat home Shangri La Express and Way To The Stars looked real quality.

She should be able to find the front here and show that she is better than midweek company.

Value Selection: R7- Getafix

Getafix comes back from Saturday grade where he didn’t appreciate settling on-speed when 7L behind Autumn Glow. Before that he was 2L 4th behind Mayfair 1st up, which reads great for this.

Double figure odds about a horse that has shown potential of being much better than midweek grade looks a good shout.
