Jose Mourinho Sacked From Man Utd

Manchester United have today announced they’ve parted ways with manager Jose Mourinho.
The news comes after United’s 3-1 loss to league-leaders Liverpool over the weekend.
The loss put the club 19 points adrift of their opponents, trailing behind in sixth position.
The club has said a caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the season.
In the meantime, the club says they’ll be conducting a thorough process to determine the best manager to take the team forward after the current season.
Manchester United wished Mourinho the best in his future endeavours.
The move to axe the controversial manager seemed to be written on the wall for some time now, considering it was the club’s worst start to a season in over 25 years.
Mourinho moved to United in 2016, and despite winning the Europa League in his first season and finishing second in the Premier League last season, his team’s performances left many United fans unhappy.
During his time in charge, he was seen to be at odds with players and his superiors, taking the captaincy away from Paul Pogba, criticising the midfielder in the dressing room, while also leaving the Club bosses unimpressed with his transfer spending.

Zinedine Zidane has been linked with the English club as a possible coaching candidate.
Zidane left Real Madrid after winning another Champions League with them last season.
