Jaylen Brown of Marietta, Georgia recorded 50 points in a game for the second time in his National Basketball Association career on Saturday. He accomplished the feat in a dominant 146-115 Celtics win over the Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
Brown made 18 of 26 field goals, eight of 10 free throws, and six of 10 three point shots. He was also a +21 with five assists, and three rebounds.
It was an offensive onslaught by the Celtics on Saturday. They had 42 points in the first quarter and again in the third quarter.
This was the second time this season that the Celtics have scored 146 points in a game. They also accomplished the feat in a 146-101 Celtics win over the Washington Wizards on December 4, 2025. The 146 points are the 10th most points a team in the NBA have had in a game this season.
