Houston Texans: Predicted Finish, Key Signings & Fantasy Stars

In the 13th of a 32-part series, we will feature all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Today we will look at the Houston Texans.
Key Off Season Acquisitions
The Houston Texans closed the Deshaun Watson era on the franchise earlier in the offseason when they traded him to the Cleveland Browns. The Texans find themselves in an era of transition, as they are now relying on quarterback Davis Mills. To help protect Mills, the Texans signed guard A.J. Cann of Bamberg, South Carolina to a two year deal worth $8.5 million. He played last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Houston also came to terms with running back Marlon Mack. Despite 2484 career rushing yards, Mack ended up behind Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines on the Colts depth chart.
On defense, the Texans acquired defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo from the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams, and cornerback Steven Nelson from the Philadelphia Eagles. Okoronkwo had 15 combined tackles, six quarterback hits, three tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles and two sacks. He signed a one-year contract worth $3.25 million. Nelson had 50 combined tackles, seven pass deflections and one interception for four yards. He signed a two-year deal worth $10 million.

Fantasy Stars
At this time there are no Texans ranked in the top 10 at any position in fantasy football.
Prediction
The Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars are significantly behind the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans in the AFC South. The Texans seemed to have less overall skill than the Jaguars at this time, and should be in the basement.
