Hobartville the next Aim for Magic Millions 3-year-old Guineas winner

After taking out the 3-year-old feature over the weekend the Peter and Paul Snowden trained galloper Aim will head towards the Hobartville in late February.
The Group 2 worth $400,000 will be run on Saturday 20th February with Peter Snowden confirming this morning on RSN927 that Aim will head there next.
“He just got back [from QLD] this morning, he still looks in great order. I think it’s five weeks from last Saturday until the Hobartville so we’ll make that a target race for him next up.” said Snowden.
Aim picked up his first win on Saturday since winning his first two career starts back in 2019 before starting favourite in last years Magic Millions 2-year-old Classic.

The $31 shot was ridden quietly from a wide draw after being ridden up nearer to the speed in his past few starts.
“His first few runs we rode him quiet and he got home and won well but then we started changing his pattern around putting him on speed
“He’s just more effective when ridden left alone and that was the case on Saturday.”
At the 600 metre mark jockey James McDonald took Aim out wide to make a long sustained run before going on to win by a comfortable 1.75 lengths.
Ciaron Maher and David Eustace runners Amish Boy and last year’s 2-year-old classic winner Away Game filled out the minor placings.
