Happy Valley R1 7. Diamond Star

Price is very attractive, steps up to the 1800m after hitting the line well a couple times over 1650m, prior 1800 form is ok and is a chance off that but he’s going better at the moment. Joao on and maps well to settle off the rails with running room.

Happy Valley R2 1. Jade Phoenix

Won very well at a long price last start. He led and bolted in running some solid ratings. He picks up a decent weight for it but won by a space. That effort was on the back of a couple gear changes and the stable is flying. Gets some favours here as the only real pace.

Happy Valley R3 9. Rising From Ashes

Forgive his Sha Tin form as its well below how he goes around this circuit. Last start placed, producing a big rating behind Special M and Whizz Kid over the 1000m, hitting the line well. 3 back, went back to last after interference but strong through the line. Maps perfectly here.

Happy Valley R8 8. Lucky Missile

Has the figures over this track/trip to be competitive and is going well at the moment. Options from the good draw and is a versatile horse. Goes well a bit fresh.

Happy Valley R9 6. Packing Award

2/2 track and trip with excellent ratings to show for it. He ran exceptional time last start and a very good L200m, picks up 2kg but can deal with that comfortably. Start prior another solid rating sitting wide no cover the trip, winning with merit. Sets up well again here from barrier 3, 4 weeks between runs. Tough to beat.
