Gonzaga University tells John Stockton he must wear a mask at home games

Utah Jazz point guard John Stockton of Spokane, Washington is one of the greatest players in NBA history. In fact he is at number nine on our all-time list of the greatest players ever. The reason why he has cracked the top 10 is because he is the NBA all-time leader in assists with 15,806.
One thing Stockton has not done lately, and that is assist his alma mater, Gonzaga University. In fact, he has been booted out for refusing to wear a mask according to Jonathan Soveta of The Score on Sunday. Stockton does in fact have season tickets with the Bulldogs, the number two ranked team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. However, he is not allowed into the arena anymore due to school policy which requires everyone to wear a mask regardless of their vaccination status. Stockton admits there had been complaints from people because he was attending games and not wearing a mask.

Stockton played his entire NBA career with the Jazz from 1984 to 2003. Nine times he led the NBA in assists, including a career-high, and NBA record 14.5 assists per game in the 1989-90 season. How dominant was Stockton in moving the ball in his career? Well, his name is next to the numbers one, two, four, five and six among the six best NBA seasons ever when it comes to assists per game. Yet, he won’t assist Gonzaga University by showing leadership at Bulldogs games by wearing a mask!
