Giannis Antetokounmpo Sets Career High In Three-Pointers In Bucks Win Over The Lakers

There had been a lot of excitement about the Milwaukee Bucks game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. The two best teams in the National Basketball Association had the opportunity to play against each other at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Both teams entered the game at 24 wins and four losses, and it was the Bucks that came away with a 111-104 victory.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee in scoring with a double-double. He had 34 points and 11 rebounds. However, one part of Antetokounmpo’s game that was the most impressive was his shot-making from beyond the arc. He nailed down a career-high five three-pointers, as he showed the NBA world that he can be a force to be reckoned in other areas of the basketball court besides near the glass.

The Bucks got secondary scoring, something they did not get earlier in the week, in their 120-116 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. George Hill scored 21 points off the bench, while Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Wesley Matthews also reached double figures in point production. Middleton had 15 points, Matthews had 13 points and Lopez had 10 points.

The Lakers’ top player on the night was Anthony Davis, who had missed the Lakers game earlier this week against the Indiana Pacers with an ankle sprain. Davis had a double-double as he had 36 points and 10 rebounds, while the great LeBron James had a triple-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Lakers have a bit of a tough schedule ahead as they have the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks in three of their next four games. The game against the Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers is on Christmas Day.
