Saturday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Sandown where the Hillside will host 9 races with the first to commence at 11:50am local time.

The track is currently rated a heavy 8. Victorian’s are set for a freezing day with tops of 14 degrees! There’s no rain expected however, the damage has been done and this track will race well into the heavy range.

The rail is out 5m for this meeting. Traditionally, with the rail out 5m and a bit of give in the track, punters can expect horses that settle on speed to be favoured. Despite this, watch and assess as the track may chop out late in the day and favour runners coming down the outside.
