Back from 42 break, best ratings when fresh. Blinkers came on 6 starts back and has been excellent since, bar 3 back when he bled. Good off a slow tempo last start running a solid L200 split. Won 2 back when resuming from a let-up off the back of a good tempo, in excellent time. Over the 1200m. Generally, gets back in running but draws barrier 2 here, won when settling midfield 2 back when jumping from 1. Expect a moderately run race which isn’t to suit – still rate him shorter than $6.5 off a slow tempo.

Happy Valley R3 – 0.8u Winwin Thirtythree $8

Back in trip last start finishing 2nd 1.3L over 1200m behind a slow tempo, solid rating and strong through the line. Stepped up to the mile start prior from racing over the 1400m. Maps midfield off the fence. Good speed here and should be coming strong late. In form jockey.

Happy Valley R9 – 0.4u The Anomaly $15

Third-up, on pace type out of an inform stable stepping up in trip. Last start, when 2nd-up, led and was too strong late in easier company over 1400m. Start prior, 1st-up, ran ok time over 1400m strong late finishing 3rd 1.4L. Gets in light, fitter and ratings are good for this.
