There have been five significant comebacks in the National Basketball Association this month. On February 2, the Boston Celtics were down 26 points before beating the Philadelphia 76ers 118-110. Let’s take a look at four other upsets this month where teams came back from 20+ point deficits.

Golden State Warriors

On Saturday, the Warriors were down 83-59 to the Chicago Bulls with three minutes and 30 seconds into the second half, when Golden State outscored Chicago 73-28 the rest of the way en route to a 132-111 romp of their own. Golden State was down by 24 points and won by 21 points in this remarkable 45 point swing. Golden State actually went on a 35-10 run in the third quarter. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 34 points, while Jimmy Butler, who was playing in his first game with the Warriors, had 25 points.

Indiana Pacers

On Thursday, the Pacers were down 44-22 to the Los Angeles Clippers with only 31 seconds into the second quarter before outscoring Los Angeles 97-68 en route to a 119-112 win. Six Pacers players reached double digits in scoring. Indiana’s most notable performer was Pascal Siakam of Douala, Cameroon, who posted a double-double (33 points and 11 rebounds).

Atlanta Hawks

On Friday, the Hawks were down 76-55 to the Milwaukee Bucks with 17 seconds into the third quarter before outscoring the Bucks 60-34 en route to a 115-110 win. Seven Hawks reached double digits in scoring. Point guard Trey Young of Lubbock, Texas led the Hawks with 24 points. Meanwhile, four Hawks had double-doubles. Guard Dyson Daniels of Bendigo, Australia had 15 points and 10 assists, center Onyeka Okongwu of Los Angeles, California had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and guard Vit Krejci of Strakonice, Czech Republic had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Sacramento Kings

The Kings were down 29-9 to the New Orleans Pelicans with exactly three minutes left in the first half on Saturday night before going on a 114-89 run over the last 39 minutes to win 123-118. Center Domantas Sabonis had the impressive double-double as he had 27 points and 16 rebounds.
