We are now three weeks into National Football League free agency and the two most high profile offensive players who have not found a destination for the season as of yet are quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Cam Newton. However, there are several other notables who are still on the market. Today, we will take a look at five of the more high profile names.

5) Bashaud Breeland–The cornerback from Allendale, South Carolina played 16 games for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019. He had two interceptions, two fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown), 48 tackles and one tackle for a loss last season. More importantly, Breeland will bring a winning attitude to any team he signs with. Breeland was part of the Chiefs team that won last year’s Super Bowl.

4) Logan Ryan–Also a cornerback, Ryan has spent the last three seasons with the Titans. Last season in Tennessee, one could argue he had the best season in his career. He had career highs in combined tackles (113), forced fumbles (four) and sacks (4.5). Ryan also had four interceptions and helped the Titans reach the AFC Championship. Prior to being with the Titans, he was with the New England Patriots, where he won two Super Bowls in 2015 and 2017.

3) Eli Apple–Another cornerback, Apple played 15 games last season for the New Orleans Saints and had one forced fumble and 58 combined tackles. Apple began his career with the New York Giants where he played two and a half seasons before being traded to New Orleans on October 23, 2018.

2) Jason Peters–Over the last 11 years, Peters has been a fixture on the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. However at age 38, one may wonder how much more time Peters may have left. The nine-time Pro Bowler, who also played five seasons with the Buffalo Bills, has the right to finish his career when he is ready. The tackle is currently 6’4″, 330 pounds and was part of the Eagles team that won the Super Bowl in 2018.

1) Jadeveon Clowney–One of the most intimidating defenders in the entire NFL, Clowney looks to be moving on from Seattle where he spent one season in 2019. Why Clowney is a huge asset is because he can play linebacker and defensive end at a high level. Last season with the Seahawks, Clowney had four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three sacks, a career high two defensive touchdowns and 31 combined tackles. The three-time Pro Bowler while with the Houston Texans, was the first overall draft pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
