Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns were involved in a wild NBA brawl which saw both players ejected from the game.

Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns had been battling down low all evening and it eventually boiled over into an all-out brawl.

After Ben Simmons forced a Towns turnover, the Timberwolves big man got tangled up with Embiid, with both players shoving each other, leading to both sets of players rushing in along with coaches and security staff.

Towns tried to put Embiid in a headlock and appeared to throw a punch, while one still frame showed the Sixers star with his thumb in his Timberwolves rival’s eye.

Simmons ripped away Towns — his friend — and put him in a chokehold on the ground, before a giddy Embiid went toward the 76ers bench with a giant smile on his face.

After the officials reviewed the tape, both players were done for the night, with 6:42 remaining in the third.

Embiid finished with 19 points and five rebounds, while Towns had 13 points and six rebounds.

The 76ers big man made sure to let the home crowd know about it, hyping them up on his way to the tunnel.

“That’s what I’m good at. I like to get in people’s mind,” Embiid said post-game. “First of all, I ain’t no bitch.

“I know they (Sixers teammates) have my back. That’s what I love about this team. We love each other.

“I was built for this city and they were built for me … you gotta be a Broad Street bully.”

Simmons said of his role: “Just making sure my teammate was good. I’ve always got my teammate’s back.”

The Sixers won 117-95.
