NFL Free Agency officially began on Wednesday. Before free agency began, we reported that the Miami Dolphins signed tight end Jonnu Smith to a two-year deal, but we did not know the financial details. We know know he is making $8.4 million. Here are eight more free agents who have switched teams.

Colby Parkinson

Parkinson, a native of San Ramon, California, signed a three-year deal worth $22.5 million with the Los Angeles Rams. He has played the last four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. In 2022, Parkinson had 25 catches for 247 yards and two touchdowns.


Will Dissly

The Seahawks lost a second tight end to a Los Angeles team as Will Dissly of Bozeman, Montana signed a three-year deal worth $14 million with the Los Angeles Chargers. In 2022, Dissly had 17 catches for 172 yards and one touchdown. The touchdown was for 19 yards from Geno Smith, and came in a 21-20 Seahawks win over the Arizona Cardinals on January 7.


Gerald Everett

The Chicago Bears signed Everett, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, to a two-year deal worth $12 million. In 2023, he had 51 catches for 411 receiving yards and three touchdowns with the Chargers. Everett has previously played for the Rams and Seahawks.


Charlie Woerner

The Atlanta Falcons signed Woerner, a native of Tiger, Georgia, to a three-year deal worth $12 million. In 2023, he had three catches for 32 yards with the San Francisco 49ers.


Harrison Bryant

The tight end from Macon, Georgia signed a one-year deal worth $3.245 million with the Las Vegas Raiders. Last season with the Cleveland Browns, he had 13 catches for 81 receiving yards and three touchdowns.


Pharaoh Brown

The native of Cleveland, Ohio signed a one-year deal worth $3.2 million with the Seahawks. He has played for four NFL teams in the past. They were the Oakland Raiders (2017), Cleveland Browns (2019 and 2022), Houston Texans (2020 to 2022), and New England Patriots (2023). In 2023 with the Patriots, Brown had 13 catches for 208 yards and one touchdown. Brown’s touchdown catch was for 58 yards from quarterback Mac Jones in a 15-10 Patriots win over the New York Jets on September 24.


Mike Gesicki

The native of Lakewood, New Jersey signed a one-year deal worth $2.5 million with the Cincinnati Bengals. He has played five seasons with the Miami Dolphins from 2018 to 2022 and one season with the New England Patriots in 2023. This past season in New England, Gesicki had 29 catches for 244 yards and two touchdowns. The major scores came in two Patriots wins. The first touchdown was a one-yard game-winning touchdown from Jones with 12 seconds left in a 29-25 Patriots win over the Buffalo Bills on October 22, and the second touchdown was 11 yards from Bailey Zappe in a 26-23 Patriots win over the Denver Broncos on Christmas Eve.


Irv Smith Jr.

The native of New Orleans, Louisiana signed a one-year deal worth $1.3 million with the Kansas City Chiefs. Last year with the Cincinnati Bengals he had 18 catches for 115 receiving yards and one touchdown. The major score was a seven-yard pass from Joe Burrow in a 24-18 Bengals win over the Buffalo Bills on November 5.
