According to Nick Shook of nfl.com on Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed safety Jaquiski Tartt of Mobile, Alabama to a one-year-deal. The Eagles become the second National Football League franchise Tartt has played for as he previously played seven seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
Tartt played 14 games with the 49ers in 2021. He had 66 combined tackles (42 solo tackles and 24 assisted tackles), five tackles for a loss, one quarterback hit and one pass deflection. The pass deflection ironically came in a 17-11 San Francisco 49ers win over the Philadelphia Eagles on September 19, and the quarterback hit came in a 34-26 49ers win over the Minnesota Vikings on November 28.
In 2021, Tartt missed three games with a knee injury according to David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. Also this past season, he was most known for dropping an interception in the 49ers’ 20-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship. In 80 games with San Francisco since 2015, Tartt has had 367 combined tackles (265 solo tackles and 102 assisted tackles), 21 tackles for a loss, nine quarterback hits, four interceptions for 101 yards, 18 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four sacks.

Last year Reddick was with the Carolina Panthers and Bradberry was with the New York Giants. On offense, the Eagles also acquired wide receiver A.J. Brown from the Tennessee Titans in a trade.
