Dolphins reveal heritage jersey
4 years ago - Sportingbase
After the recent signing of premiership-winning coach, Wayne Bennett, the NRL’s newest team has revealed its first jersey to be worn during the heritage round.
The Dolphins are still yet to decide on a home and away jersey, however, Bennett unveiled the new jersey at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday.
The club colours which have been worn by the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup are red and white, similar to St George and Illawarra Dragons, with many thinking the new club would include a design with a V.
When the Dolphins enter the competition in 2023, the club will have the difficulty of making sure the jerseys don’t clash with the Dragons.

St George legend Craig Young discussed the issue with Newscorp.
“There’s only one team that will wear the Red V and that’s us,” Young said.
“The Red V is tradition and that is what this game is built on – tradition. It means everything to a lot of people. They are starting fresh and I’m sure they would want their own identity.”
Meanwhile, the Dolphins will also turn their attention towards player signings when they are allowed to start negotiating on November 1.
The likes of Harry Grant, Cameron Munster and Daly Cherry-Evans have been linked with the Queensland club.
Stay tuned to see more updates on the Dolphins and their future dealings as they look to take the NRL by storm.
