The Miami Dolphins had a disappointing 2025 National Football League regular season. They had a record of seven wins and 10 losses, with a winning percentage of .412. The Dolphins also had a points for and against ratio of -77 as they scored 347 points and allowed 424 points.
In October, the Dolphins fired general manager Chris Grier after a 2-7 start. Miami spent the last two months looking for his replacement, and used the expertise of former NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman in the decision making process. The new person in Miami is general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan of Columbia, South Carolina and the person out is head coach Mike McDaniel.

Sullivan of Columbia, South Carolina is getting his first NFL general manager job. He has been with the Packers since 2003. Sullivan began as a training camp intern (2003). That was followed by being the Packers football operations department employee (2004 to 2007), the Packers Central Plains Regional Scout (2008 to 2011), the Packers southeast region scout (2012 to 2015), the Packers director of college scouting (2016 to 2017), the Packers co-director of player personnel (2018 to 2021), and since 2022, the Packers vice-president of player personnel.
Now there are rumours starting to commence that current Packers head coach Matt LaFleur of Mount Pleasant, Michigan could soon be joining Sullivan in Miami. But first, the Packers play the Bears in the NFC Wildcard on Saturday night.
