DiVincenzo drops 33, short-handed Knicks take care of Jazz

Despite being down Julius Randle and OG Anunoby, the New York Knicks managed to take care of business against the Utah Jazz 118-103 at Madison Square Garden for their eighth consecutive win.
They were led by Donte DiVincenzo who put up 33 points on 9-of-15 shooting from three to go along with four steals and a team-high +23.
Jalen Brunson added 29 points and nine assists whilst Josh Hart put up 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists en route to the first triple-double of his career.
Precious Achiuwa (18 points, five rebounds), Isaiah Hartenstein (14 points, 12 rebounds), and Quentin Grimes (12 points, six rebounds) were also among the contributors.
Despite surrendering an early lead, the Knicks gained control of the contest late in the opening quarter and did not look back with their edge growing to as many as 25 late in the third.
The outscored the Jazz by a dozen in the third period behind DiVincenzo and Brunson’s combined 21 points.
The Knicks won the points in the paint (62 to 50) and fastbreak (24-16) battles whilst scoring 22 points off 14 Jazz turnovers.
Collin Sexton (22 points, seven assists) led the way for Utah along with Lauri Markkanen (14 points, 5-of-14 shooting) and Simone Fontecchio (14 points, 5-of-10 shooting).
The Jazz will be back home on Friday to face the 76ers whilst the Knicks are next in action against the Pacers the same day.
