Devin Booker of Grand Rapids, Michigan set the Phoenix Suns record for most three-point shots made in a career on Friday in a 124-115 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder according to ESPN. Booker now has made 1052 three-pointers, which is one more than Steve Nash, who made 1051 three-pointers with the Suns from 1996 to 1998, and again from 2004 to 2012 in 744 games. Booker made his 1052 three-pointers with the Suns from 2015 to 2023 in 511 games.
Booker’s three-point shot he made on Friday was in fact the only three-point shot he made in seven attempts. The three-point shot Booker made came with two minutes and eight seconds left in the fourth quarter. At the time, the Suns took a 121-110 lead.
Booker led the Suns in scoring with 25 points. Even though he struggled from downtown, Booker made all six free throw attempts and made nine of 21 field goal attempts.
For the season, Booker is averaging 26.5 points per game, 5.6 assists per game, and 4.6 rebounds per game. He has a field goal percentage of .474, three-point percentage of .351 and a free throw percentage of .853.

Booker’s finest game this season came on December 17 when he scored 58 points in a 118-114 Suns win over the New Orleans Pelicans. He also reached the 50-point plateau by scoring 51 points in a 132-113 Phoenix win over the Chicago Bulls. In the wins over the Pelicans and Bulls, Booker made six three-pointers in each contest.
Phoenix is now at 33 wins and 28 losses. That is good enough for fourth place in the West, as they are behind the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings.
