Clippers set franchise record for most points in a playoff game

The Los Angeles Clippers had an unbelievable game as a team on Tuesday night in their playoff win over the Dallas Mavericks in the Orlando bubble. The Clippers scored a playoff team record of 154 points in a 154-111 win over the Dallas Mavericks to take a 3-2 lead in the best out of seven Western Conference quarterfinal series.
A number of Clippers franchise playoff records were broken on Tuesday. The Clippers had the most points in the first half (76), most three-pointers (22), their largest margin of victory (43 points), and their highest field goal percentage in a game (.631) according to ESPN.
It was also the first time in NBA history that teammates scored 30 points or more in 30 minutes or less. Paul George of Palmdale, California had 35 points in 25 minutes. While Kawhi Leonard of Los Angeles, California had 32 points in 30 minutes. George also became the first player in NBA playoff history to record 35 points when he played in 25 minutes or less. Meanwhile, Marcus Morris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and George led the Clippers in three-pointers with four each.
The series between the Clippers and Mavericks has been quite fascinating. The Mavericks have received an outstanding playoff performance themselves from Luka Doncic of Ljubljana, Slovenia, who had the game-winning shot in overtime in game four.

The Clippers can close out the series on Thursday with a game six win. Game seven, if necessary, will be on Saturday.
The other three Western Conference playoff series are also still going on. However on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Lakers have a chance of eliminating the Portland Trail Blazers as they lead three games to one. The Utah Jazz lead the Denver Nuggets three games to two, while the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder are tied at two.
