Clippers erase 18-point deficit, overcome Nets

The Clippers have won 10 of their past 12 after erasing an 18-point, second-half deficit against the Nets to come away with a 125-114 win.
A trio of Clippers finished with 20-plus including James Harden (24 points, 10 assists), Kawhi Leonard (21 points, 6-of-15 shooting), and Russell Westbrook (23 points, nine rebounds).
Paul George (12 points, 5-of-17 shooting) endured a tough night shooting whilst Norman Powell (12 points, five rebounds) and Terance Mann (13 points, 4-of-6 shooting) offered steady boosts for LA.
The Clippers hit on eight of their 14 second-half three-point attempts whilst hitting 18-of-20 from the stripe and finishing +13 on the glass.
The Nets leapt out to an early double-digit lead which remained at a dozen heading into halftime which ballooned to as high as 18 early in the fourth.
An extended 29-10 run saw the Clippers take their first lead of the night with a little under three minutes to play in the fourth before closing the game on a 10-0 run.
The Nets were led by Mikal Bridges’ 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists whilst Cam Thomas added 20 points and six assists of his own.
The Nets are back in action on Wednesday to face the Knicks at the Barclays Center whilst the Clippers host an intercity showdown of their own the same night against the Lakers.
